Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of GiftHarmony, a gift-planning and product-discovery service. By using GiftHarmony, you agree to these Terms.

Using GiftHarmony

You may use GiftHarmony for lawful personal gift planning and related product discovery. You are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of information you enter, for maintaining the security of your account, and for activity performed through your account.

Information about other people

GiftHarmony lets you create recipient profiles. Only enter information you are permitted to use. Do not use GiftHarmony to collect, store, or expose unnecessary sensitive personal information about another person.

Gift recommendations

Gift ideas, match scores, explanations, and other recommendations are generated to assist your decision-making. They are not guarantees that a recipient will like a gift or that a product will be suitable for every situation. Review the product and merchant information before purchasing.

Products, merchants, and third-party sites

GiftHarmony does not sell, stock, ship, warrant, or fulfill the products displayed through its product-discovery features. Prices, availability, descriptions, condition, shipping, returns, warranties, and transaction terms are controlled by the applicable merchant or marketplace and may change after GiftHarmony displays them.

When you follow a product link, any transaction is between you and the applicable merchant or marketplace. Their terms and policies apply to that transaction.

Affiliate relationships

GiftHarmony may participate in affiliate programs. When affiliate links are active, GiftHarmony may receive compensation for qualifying activity or purchases made after you follow certain product links, at no additional charge imposed by GiftHarmony. Applicable affiliate relationships will be disclosed near those links.

Shared wishlists and gift claims

A shared wishlist link can be opened by anyone who receives the link, so you are responsible for choosing who receives it. You can turn off an active wishlist link from your account.

Private gift claims are a coordination aid intended to reduce duplicate gifts. A claim does not reserve inventory with a merchant, guarantee that a shopper will complete a purchase, or guarantee that another shopper will not buy the same item. Browser storage is used to recognize anonymous claims; signed-in shoppers may privately sync eligible claims to their GiftHarmony account so they can manage those claims across devices.

Account-synced claim ownership remains private from the wishlist owner. A signed-in shopper may also save a private Gift Plan copy of a claimed wishlist item. That copy is independent of the original wishlist and may remain in the shopper’s account if the original item changes, the shared link expires, or the shopper releases the claim.

GiftHarmony may show private claim-change updates to the shopper when a claimed item changes or disappears, sharing is stopped, or a link expires. To avoid silently transferring a reservation to a materially different gift, the affected claim may be released automatically. Any separate private Gift Plan copy remains independent unless the shopper changes or removes it.

Availability and changes

GiftHarmony may add, change, suspend, or remove features and integrations as the service evolves. Product sources, AI services, and other third-party integrations may also change or become unavailable.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse GiftHarmony, attempt to bypass security or access controls, interfere with the service, use automated access in a way that harms the service, submit malicious content, or use GiftHarmony in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.

Disclaimer

GiftHarmony is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. GiftHarmony does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, the accuracy of third-party product data, or a particular outcome from a recommendation or purchase.

Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, GiftHarmony is not responsible for losses arising from a merchant’s products or services, changes in third-party listing information, or conduct on third-party sites. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy

The Privacy Policy explains how GiftHarmony handles information associated with the service.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as GiftHarmony changes. The effective date above will identify the current published version.
